Message I would simply put my hazards on and say it broke down while I wait for it to cool (with the heater CRANKED). And like almost everyone I do watch my coolant level carefully in stop and go traffic.

I do know someone loacally in STL who had thier Z meet its death by overheating in a contruction zone (no place to pull off). I don't think it was the fan clutch though just for the record.

But yes, if I overheated and damaged the engine after all the work put into it you can bet I would feel pretty stupid.

Perhaps its doesn't seem that way to you but I do make a point in speding my money carefully for this build up. I'm not rich nor do I have the luxury of saying things like "money is not the problem - quite the contrary" (not you spee but a post I saw yesterday).
